ABoC are a supplier of Coal & Solid Fuel
products for open fires, wood & multi fuel stoves, and
externally fire pits and Chimeneas. A Trade Distributor
with a reputation based
on excellent customer service. Located in Newcastle upon Tyne,
we are ideally placed to supply
throughout the North East. Our business model focuses on:
Convenience. All coal products come
sealed in clean pre-packed extra strong bags with a
guaranteed weight of 10kg (22lb). The bags can be easily carried and
stored in your home, which means you don't need a bunker.
However, we are more than happy to split and fill your
bunker if required.
Quality Products. We offer a
wide range
of solid fuels many focused on the eco or recycled market.
Value for Money. As a trade
distributor, we deliver to service stations, garden & DIY centres,
public houses,
mini markets and smaller retailers. High volumes mean we
pay less and pass those savings on.
Free and Regular deliveries. Our vans
deliver throughout the North East daily. All deliveries
are free and at evenings or
weekends when you are at home. We endeavour to deliver
with 3 days (2010/11 Winter achieved 95%) which means you can
order
low quantities and rely on regular re-supplies.

and constant upgrading of equipment and facilities.
Through our distributor relationship, we can
provide a wider range of product, have a more consistent
supply and stable price. All focussed on providing a
dedicated Solid Fuel service to you. We look to

Our History, Coal Comes Clean Our business started at the beginning of 2007.
Following problems obtaining and missed coal deliveries at home we
started purchasing pre-packed bags from garage forecourts.
Although more expensive, it meant we could regulate supply and
more importantly store bags in the garage and simply carry one
at a time into our
home. This meant we no longer needed a bunker and
the mess associated with filling and emptying it, especially
when it was cold or raining. Having
spare garage space, a tonne
was purchased commercially making the price comparable with the loose
delivery. That's three years supply for us, so having
another business we placed ad's promoting a coal delivery
service. The business was born, A Bit of Coal (now ABoC
Solid Fuels), the name being a
derivative of our other business
ABITOVADU.
